Henry was born in Newark, New Jersey and raised in Rumson, New Jersey. He attended Princeton University and was awarded his A.B. degree magna cum laude in 1975. While at Princeton, Henry received the M. Taylor Pyne Honor Prize, the University’s highest general undergraduate award for academic excellence, extra-curricular achievement and community service. He received his Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1978.

He is also the attorney of record in numerous reported opinions involving real estate and zoning law issues, and he has conducted countless seminars in the areas of real estate, condominium, and homeowner’s association law as well as civil litigation.
